Accurate chemical dosing is critical to every water and wastewater treatment process — from coagulation and flocculation through pH correction, disinfection, and scale inhibition. Zhongsheng Environmental automatic dosing systems integrate solution preparation tanks, precision metering pumps, in-line mixers, safety devices, and PLC-based controls on a single pre-assembled skid. Each system is factory-wired, piped, and tested so it can be connected to your process within hours of delivery, eliminating field-fabrication errors and reducing commissioning time.
Dry or liquid chemical stock is loaded into the solution preparation tank, where a motorized agitator dissolves and homogenizes the reagent to the target concentration. The PLC continuously reads the process signal (e.g., pH, ORP, residual chlorine, or flow rate) from in-line analysers and calculates the required dose. It then drives one or more metering pumps to inject the prepared solution into the process stream through an injection quill and static mixer. A pulsation dampener smooths pump output, and a back-pressure valve ensures consistent injection pressure regardless of process-line fluctuations. When the tank level drops below a configurable setpoint, the system triggers an alarm and optionally locks out the pump to prevent dry running. All operating parameters — dose rate, tank level, pump status, and alarms — are displayed on the HMI touchscreen and can be transmitted to a central SCADA system via Modbus or Ethernet.
