B2B Website Build
Fast manufacturer websites with product and category pages, schema markup and a quote form that records the source page of each inquiry.
Ask about B2B Website Build →B2B buyers now ask AI assistants which suppliers to contact. Our AI search optimization for manufacturers makes your pages easy for ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI to find, trust and cite. We start with an SEO foundation, then add generative engine optimization (GEO). The same method runs this website: in 2026, ChatGPT and Copilot sent us real project inquiries from engineering firms and plant owners.
An engineer asks an assistant how to size a treatment plant, what it costs, or which standard applies. The assistant searches the web, quotes a few pages and links to them. The companies behind those pages get the next click, and sometimes the inquiry.
HydropureWater is an industrial water and wastewater equipment website run by our team. Since May 2026 it has logged nearly one hundred inquiry records. Among inquiries with a traceable source, about 40% came from AI assistants: ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot cited one of our technical pages and the buyer followed the link. A few anonymized examples are below; client names, countries and project details are withheld.
| AI assistant | Page the assistant cited | Who inquired | Project scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Copilot | Country engineering guide with costs and compliance | Engineering consultancy, Southern Africa | Large municipal plant |
| ChatGPT | Equipment cost and pricing guide | Engineering consultancy, South Asia | Large industrial effluent project |
| ChatGPT | Process design and sizing guide | Transport facility, East Africa | Complete plant |
Based on our own inquiry records after removing duplicates, tests and spam. AI assistants do not always pass a referral tag, so the real share of AI-referred inquiries may be higher. Other inquiries came from Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, direct email or unknown sources.
AI assistants can only cite pages they can crawl and index. So we fix the foundation first, then optimize for citations.

B2B manufacturers and exporters whose buyers compare specifications, costs and compliance before they ask for a quote. Our own evidence comes from the first group below.
We test whether AI crawlers can reach your site and whether assistants mention you for your key products.
We list the buyer questions to answer, by product, market and language.
We fix the SEO foundation, then publish and mark up answer-first pages every month.
We report crawling, Copilot citations and each inquiry with its landing page and source.
ChatGPT search can only cite pages it can reach, so your site must allow OpenAI's OAI-SearchBot crawler and must not block it at the firewall or CDN. After that, it helps to publish pages that answer buyer questions directly, with specifications, cost ranges and standards that can be checked. On our own site, the pages that ChatGPT sent inquiries from were design guides, cost guides and country or sector guides.
Microsoft Copilot grounds its web answers with Bing search, so being indexed and well represented in Bing comes first. Google AI Overviews draw on pages Google has indexed. In both cases the base is the same: crawlable, indexed pages with clear answers, followed by GEO work on structure and evidence.
SEO aims to rank a page in search results. Generative engine optimization (GEO) aims to have your page cited inside an AI-generated answer. GEO builds on SEO and puts more weight on answer-first paragraphs, tables, FAQs, structured data and references that an AI system can verify.
Yes. AI assistants that search the web rely on search indexes and crawlers. If your pages are not crawled and indexed, they cannot be cited. That is why our service starts with an SEO foundation and then adds GEO.
We track inquiries by landing page and referral source, including tags such as chatgpt.com and copilot.com, and we use Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance data for Copilot citations. Referral tags are not always passed, so tagged inquiries are a minimum count, not a full count.
Our own evidence comes from industrial water and wastewater equipment, where engineering consultancies, contractors and plant owners in Africa, South Asia and Oceania reached us through ChatGPT and Copilot. Results in other industries depend on how buyers research them, which we check in the free review.
Expect months, not weeks. Pages must first be crawled and indexed, and AI citations change as assistants update their sources. We report monthly so you can see crawling, citations and inquiries as they appear. We do not guarantee that any AI assistant will recommend your company.
Monthly GEO and SEO work is quoted after we review your website, products and target markets. Website builds and AI product images are quoted per project. Request the free AI visibility check below to get a scoped proposal.
Tell us about your products and target markets. We will check how AI assistants and search engines see your site, and reply with what we would fix first.
