Bottled Water Production Line

Bottled Water Production Line
Bottled Water Production Line

Complete turnkey bottled water lines integrating RO treatment, pure water storage, PET bottle blowing (350-1500 ml), 8-8-3 filling, labelling, inkjet coding and sleeve shrink packaging - specified as one balanced scope rather than separate machines.

A bottled water production line takes raw water at one end and delivers labelled, coded, shrink-wrapped retail packs at the other. The complete line integrates seven stages — RO water treatment, pure water storage, bottle blowing, filling, labelling, coding and shrink packaging — each of which must be matched in throughput, because a line is only as fast as its slowest machine. HydropureWater supplies the line as one engineered scope rather than as separate machines, so that the RO plant, the blower and the filler are sized against each other and against your target output.

Key Features

  • Complete turnkey line — water treatment through to packaged product, supplied and commissioned as one scope
  • RO water treatment front end sized to the filling capacity, not sold separately
  • Bottle blowing for 350 ml to 1,500 ml PET formats from preforms
  • 8-8-3 rinse-fill-cap monobloc filling machine
  • Round bottle labelling machine
  • Inkjet coding for batch and expiry marking
  • Sleeve shrink packaging machine for retail multipacks
  • Stainless steel pure water storage tank between treatment and filling

Line Process Flow

StageEquipmentFunction
1RO water treatment machineRemoves dissolved salts, organics and micro-organisms to produce beverage-grade purified water
2Pure water storage tankStainless steel buffer holding treated water between production and filling
3Bottle blowing machineForms 350 ml–1,500 ml PET bottles from preforms on site
48-8-3 filling machineMonobloc rinsing, filling and capping
5Round bottle labelling machineApplies wrap-around labels to filled bottles
6Inkjet coding machinePrints batch number and expiry date
7Sleeve shrink packaging machineWraps and shrinks bottles into retail multipacks

Line throughput is set by the filling machine and must be matched by the RO plant and blower. Tell us your target bottles per hour and bottle formats and we will specify each stage against it.

How It Works

Raw water is first treated by the RO plant, which removes dissolved salts, organics and micro-organisms to reach beverage-grade quality, and the permeate is held in a stainless steel pure water tank that buffers the treatment plant against the intermittent draw of the filling line. In parallel, PET preforms are heated and stretch-blown into bottles, so that empty bottles are produced on site rather than shipped in — the single largest logistics saving in bottled water production, since shipping empty bottles is shipping air. Blown bottles enter the 8-8-3 monobloc, which rinses, fills and caps in one continuous rotary motion. Filled bottles are labelled, inkjet-coded with batch and expiry data, then collated and sleeve-shrink wrapped into retail packs.

Applications

  • Bottled drinking water plants: purified and packaged water for retail distribution
  • Mineral and spring water bottling: packaging natural sources to retail standard
  • Beverage manufacturers: water line feeding a wider beverage production operation
  • Regional distributors: local bottling to serve a market without long-haul freight of finished product
  • Hotel and resort groups: own-brand bottled water production
  • Institutional supply: schools, campuses and industrial parks bottling their own water

Why Choose HydropureWater Bottling Lines?

Most bottled water projects that disappoint were bought as a collection of machines rather than as a line. The filler runs at a rate the RO plant cannot sustain, or the blower cannot keep the filler fed, and the plant never reaches its nameplate output. HydropureWater specifies the water treatment stage against the filling rate from the outset — drawing on a project record that includes 300 m³/day commercial RO for a beverage factory and 3,000 LPH RO plants with scale inhibitor dosing for beverage industry duty — so the line is balanced before it is quoted, not after it is installed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a complete bottled water production line include?

Seven stages: RO water treatment, pure water storage tank, bottle blowing machine, 8-8-3 filling machine, round bottle labelling machine, inkjet coding machine and sleeve shrink packaging machine. Supplied as one integrated scope so that throughput is matched across all stages.

What bottle sizes can the line produce?

The blowing machine handles small bottle formats from 350 ml to 1,500 ml from PET preforms. Format changes are made by changing moulds and adjusting the filler and labeller, so a single line can serve several retail sizes.

Do I need to buy the RO plant separately?

No, and you should not. The water treatment stage is part of the line and must be sized against the filling rate. Buying a filler and sourcing the RO plant separately is the most common reason a bottling line fails to reach its rated output.

How is the line capacity determined?

By the filling machine, with every other stage sized to match it. Tell us your target output in bottles per hour and the bottle formats you intend to run, and we will specify the RO capacity, storage volume, blower rate and packaging throughput to suit.
