Delivered pulse-jet bag filter for continuous incinerator off-gas duty in Southeast Asia.
Project Background
The client needed continuous particulate removal from a ~50 m³/min incinerator off-gas stream with a client-supplied design inlet temperature of 900 °C. The filter could not receive the gas directly, so the design included a dedicated cooling stage, temperature control above the acid dew point and rapid passage through the dioxin re-formation band.
Our Solution
We delivered an evaporative-quench system cooling the gas to about 180 °C before a pulse-jet bag filter. PTFE-membrane glass-fibre media was selected for the cooled duty, with approximately 29 m² of filter area sized at a 0.8 m/min air-to-cloth ratio. Commissioning and performance checks confirmed the agreed design basis.
