Delivered a containerised MBR plant for a hospital dialysis centre in West Africa
Project Background
The hospital required a compact treatment system for domestic-equivalent wastewater with variable discharge timing, residual chlorine and high conductivity. The client-supplied design basis covered hospital wastewater over an 8-hour discharge window, with each treatment stage sized for the upper bound of the agreed influent ranges and target effluent limits.
Our Solution
We delivered a containerised membrane bioreactor with equalisation and dechlorination before biological treatment, anoxic and aerobic stages, membrane separation and chlorine dioxide disinfection. The design buffers the discharge window, protects nitrification from residual chlorine and supports operation by hospital maintenance staff without an extended local construction programme.
